STEP 1 - Case Study
They take you to a lecture hall where you're given 15 minutes to read a case study. The case study has a conclusion as well as a question towards the end of it.
They had given a rough sheet to note down points if we wanted to. The case study was of 2 pages( 1 page front and back). You are not allowed to write anything on that case study paper.
Note: Nothing from the case study will be asked in the GD1
STEP 2- Group discussion 1
Groups of 4/5 students are formed and sent to their respective GD classrom.
My GD1 had two panelists All the students who were paired in one group were usually from the same specialization (as far as I asked some of them)
Questions asked :-
General TMAY
Specific work experience questions
Situational questions
Marketing students were asked a couple of marketing concepts , same for finance and other domains
It Lasted for about 30-40 mins
They then told us to wait in the waiting area. The results were announced in about 25 mins. 2-3 people were shortlisted for the second round from almost all of the groups that I had seen.
Only in one panel no one was selected.
Shortlisted candidates move to GD 2
STEP 3- Group Discussion 2
Groups of 5 students were formed. It was a different panel this time and people that you are paired with is also different ie from diff specializations.
This was a little more detailed
Couple of vague questions were asked initially to everyone

Something that is not is your resume
Why should we select you and reject all the other candidates alongside you?
Which subject are you comfortable in? Then questions on that one
