A lot of us underestimate how much the exam timing can play with our performance. Morning slots feel different from afternoon ones. not because the paper changes, but because we do.
Some people are naturally more alert in the morning, while others peak later in the day. If youβre not a morning person, that 9 AM slot can feel like a rude shock. Similarly, in afternoon slots, post-lunch drowsiness can kick in.
The hack? Donβt wait till exam day to figure this out. If your slot is in the morning, practice mocks at the same time so your brain gets used to being active early. If itβs afternoon, adjust your food/sleep so you donβt feel sluggish.
At the end of the day, the slot doesnβt decide your score, your energy management does. Small habits like good sleep, light meals, and mock practice at slot timings can make a surprising difference.
