So, during my IIT Delhi MBA interview, I was asked something totally unexpected:

“How many sides does an egg have?”

For a second, I just stared. Then I said, “One side,” and tried to explain that since an egg is a smooth, continuous shape, it doesn't really have multiple sides like a cube or a rectangle. It’s just... one curved surface all around.

The panel smiled. I don't know if they agreed or were just amused, but I felt like they appreciated the way I approached it.

Looking back, I realize it wasn't a question about facts—it was more about how you think and respond on the spot. And honestly, that made the interview feel less like a test and more like a conversation.
