Do I need to know about finance before doing an MBA?

Hey!

I’m thinking of pursuing an MBA, but I don’t have a background in finance. Do you really need to know a lot about finance before starting, or is it something they teach in the program?
Should I try to learn some basics beforehand, or can I get by without it?

Would love to hear from anyone who’s done this or is in the same boat!
