During one of my B-school interviews, I was asked a question that really made me stop and think:
👉 “What is something you’ve unlearned in the last 2 years?”
At first, I scrambled for an answer—our instinct is to show what we've learned, not what we've let go of.
But then it struck me.
In the fast-moving environments I’ve worked in—whether at Udaan handling supply chain finance or at Airtel building tech—I had to unlearn the idea that perfection is the goal. I realized that speed, adaptability, and progress often matter more than getting everything 100% right the first time.
✅ I learned to prioritize clarity over control.
✅ To embrace failure as iteration, not incompetence.
✅ And to stop equating being busy with being impactful.
That one question turned into a moment of reflection—not just for the interview, but for how I approach work, leadership, and life.
If you're preparing for interviews, here’s my advice:
🔹 Prepare your mind, not just your answers.
🔹 Reflect on your journey deeply.
🔹 And don’t be afraid to be vulnerable—it shows maturity, not weakness.
